Polarization control of optical transmission of a periodic array of elliptical holes in a metal film

Spectral dependencies of polarized optical transmission of a metal film witha periodic array of elliptical nanoholes have been studied. Such nanostructuredmetal films exhibit the enhanced broadband optical transmission which can becontrolled by selecting polarization of incident and/or transmitted light.
